💻 Product Overview

The Arctic Liquid Freezer III-280 is a liquid CPU cooler with two A-RGB fans and a 280 mm radiator, built for builders who want strong thermal headroom in a compact all-in-one design. Its mounting hardware covers Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 as well as AMD AM5 and AM4, so it fits a wide range of current builds. A PWM-controlled VRM fan adds airflow around the voltage converters, while the integrated fan cabling keeps the interior tidy.

✨ Key Features

Intel contact frame: The LGA1851 and LGA1700 mounting frame spreads contact pressure for even heat transfer across the CPU surface.
AMD offset mounting: A 5 mm offset positions the cold plate over the hotspot of Ryzen multi-die processors.
VRM cooling: A PWM-controlled fan in the base area cools voltage converters and nearby components.
Integrated cable routing: Radiator fan PWM cables run through the hose jacket, leaving one visible cable to the motherboard.
A-RGB fans: Two addressable RGB fans light the radiator while moving air through the loop.

Is this cooler/fan compatible with my CPU or case?▾

Check the supported sockets (e.g. LGA1700, AM5) and fan/radiator size in the specs. Air coolers also need enough case height clearance, and AIOs need a matching radiator mount.

How noisy is this cooler/fan under load?▾

The specs usually state max noise (dBA) and airflow (CFM). Larger, lower-RPM fans are generally quieter while still moving good air.
